Thank You for Yawning

Too many times have I started to write my initial blog post only to end up napping in bed. Hmm...I actually got sleepy there. This will be my introduction post and hopefully it will encourage me to write more, since starting is the hardest part.

(20 minutes later after waking up from my nap)

I just made some Vietnamese styled coffee to wake my Vietnamese ass up...wait, I'm not Vietnamese.

I'm not sure how to build an audience outside of my friends on facebook and myspace, so if you know, please leave me my very first comment :)

I will leave you with a picture of me yawning and hopefully in return, you will yawn. thank you for yawning.

Hey Mustafa,

I'm sure once you start blogging about the different topics that interest you (photography, photoshop, etc.), you will naturally gain readers outside your circle of friends. Maybe you can post how you photoshop a lot of your pictures?

Keep blogging and I'll do my best to read your posts.

Thanks Ani! Wait, which Ani is this? Regardless, thanks for the info and suggestion. Hmmm, release my photoshop secrets on the web? :) We'll see.

Thanks again!

Yay! You have popped your blogging cherry ;)

The best way I have found to build readership is to comment on other people's blogs. Like mine. I'm betting a few of your most awesome readers will venture on over to my silly little blog, and since you commented on my blog, a few of my readers will join the party all up in here.

Also, using highly unique words will drive traffic to your site. For example, I wrote an entry on a not so well known cocktail, the "elderberry collins." Not only is it super delicious, but people have typed in those words after seeing it on a menu (like at CraftLA), and since it's not well known nor widely documented, mine is one of the blogs that pops up!

Can't wait to see what you've got in store!

Haha...this is Ani from far far away (Merced to be exact). Oh and maybe not secrets, but simple instructions.
